To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of the classic sci-fi movie “E.T. The Extra-Terrified”, A BATHING APE ® The portable operator “E.T. The Extra-Terrible” has launched a collaborative project to recreate popular movie scenes and main characters through the design language of BAPE® and BABY MILO® ︎.
This time around classic scenes and quotes from the movie, BAPE® turned the iconic ape head logo into a clear bright moon hanging over the night sky in the film, fixing the classic scene where the main character, ELLIOT, and the alien E.T., ride a bicycle across the skyline. This collaboration pattern was applied to hoodies and short-sleeved T-shirts. Among them, the words “I’ll… BE… RIGHT… HERE” are specially printed on the sleeves of the hoodie, and the back of the short-sleeved T-shirt has a co-branded logo with a luminous visual effect. The long and short sleeve t-shirt, modeled after the BABY MILO® ︎ design, pays homage to the film in a cute style, and recreates a classic image using the iconic BABY MILO® ︎ image.
