American Fashion Designers Association CFDA (Council) (of Fashion Designers of America) is committed to promoting and honoring rising stars in the fashion industry. It recently issued an official statement announcing that Thom Browne will take over Tom Ford as the new chairman and will officially take office on January 1 next year for a term of two years. During his tenure at Tom Ford, he not only launched a new program to explore the lack of diversity, fairness, and inclusiveness in the fashion industry, but also pioneered partnerships with brands, providing hundreds of jobs, mentorship opportunities, and helping up-and-coming talent; this time he gave the team to Thom Browne — a CFDA member in 2005 who won the CFDA Men’s Designer of the Year award three times in 2006, 2013, and 2016 English hopes that he can break new ground in the rapidly changing field of fashion field of view.
