By Takashi Kumagai After leading Japanese street brand WIND AND SEA teamed up with several brands to create apparel items, the brand will now join hands with ASICS to launch the latest co-branded shoe model, GEL-Nimbus 9.
WIND AND SEA brought “Cream/Pure Silver” and “White/Pure Silver” in this collaboration. Both colors are made of the same fabric. The former is based on a cream mesh, with a silver and blue metallic overlay, and is equipped with blue laces, lining and outsole to complete the design. Next, “White/Pure Silver” is created in a relatively soft color scheme. Using white mesh with silver and beige overlays, the laces, lining, tongue and outsole are all made of soft beige and white. Both color schemes are decorated with the word “SEA” on the triangular face on the back heel to highlight the partnership.
