Recently, Maison Kitsuné officially opened its first store in southwest China and landed at IFS in Chengdu. Kitsuné, which means fox in Japanese, is flexible and full of fun, and as a landmark city where people enjoy a lifestyle, this time the store is inspired by the collision of similar characteristics between the two. It extracts kanji music with various meanings to create the first store in the southwest with the theme of a “happy” fox in Chengdu. The entrance of the store, representing a futuristic sculpture of a fox and a bright orange-red tone, highlights the brand’s passion and desire for artistic life; the windows are shaped by geometric lines and soft light, creating an elegant atmosphere of French minimalism. To celebrate the opening of its first store in the southwest region, the brand launched a city-limited series, combining a panda head with Chengdu characteristics and the brand’s iconic fox head to create a versatile unisex item covering T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and canvas bags to meet the needs of everyday multi-occasion wear.
